The Stambaugh Chorus invites all local singers to join its Spring 2026 season, featuring powerful choral music connected to the national Sing Democracy 250 initiative, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. This nationwide project includes newly commissioned works that celebrate democracy, unity, and the American spirit. Rehearsals begin Tuesday, January 6, and will be held weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, in Bliss Hall, on the YSU campus. The Sixth Annual Youngstown May Day Festival will be Friday May 1 through Sunday May 3 from 12-6pm at the Calvin Center at 755 Mahoning Ave for a fun, free celebration of labor, Beltane, climate justice, human rights, and community in the Valley. The festival is a family friendly place for great food, crafts, a May pole dance, workshops, games, and more.
The Trumbull New Theater presents the show "Deer Camp" weekends from Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 17 with Friday and Saturday shows at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees at 3:00pm. The theater is located at 5883 Youngstown Warren Rd in Niles. "Deer Camp" is a comedy follows four friends on their annual deer hunting trip, it takes a turn when their wives give them an ultimatum.
