The Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County and the Trumbull County Historical Society present Hometown Holidays on the Courthouse Square in Warren, on Saturday, December 13, 4:00 - 7:30 pm. Activities include a holiday parade, meet and greets with Santa and other surprise guests for the kids, ice sculptures, light show, horse and carriage rides, letters to Santa, ornament making and holiday crafts, music at the Gazebo, holiday gift and art markets, and the annual tree lighting.
The Millennial Theatre Company presents the play, Who's Holiday, weekends from from Friday, December 5 through Sunday, December 13, with the evening performances at 7:30, and the Sunday matinee at 3:00 pm, at Youngstown's Hopewell Theatre, on Mahoning Avenue, in Youngstown. Who's Holiday is an adults-only comedy that tells the story of Cindy Lou Who as she recalls that Christmas Eve she first met the Grinch and the twisted turn of events her life has now taken. The Rust Belt Theater presents How the Drag Queen Stole Christmas, weekends from December Friday, December 5 - Sunday, December 14, with evening performances at 8:00 pm and the Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm, at the Youngstown Playhouse, on Mahoning Avenue, in Youngstown. This is an off-the-wall retelling of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, featuring Starrlet O’Hara, a tyrant drag queen who is visited by three ghostly divas on Christmas Eve. The Youngstown Historical Center for Industry and Labor presents a photography exhibition by Richard Hahn titled Grit/Glow, opening Thursday, July 10, and on display through February. Grit/Glow juxtaposes the warmth of orange skies with the stark realities of industry, illustrating the paradox of beauty and hardship. The museum is open Wednesdays through Fridays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and on Saturdays from Noon to 4:00 pm.

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society presents its 17th-Annual Memories of Christmas Past Exhibit, at Arms Family Museum, on Wick Avenue, in Youngstown, from Monday, November 17 through Wednesday, December 31, Noon - 4 pm, everyday except Mondays and national holidays. The Holiday Concert at Boardman Park takes place on Sunday, December 14, at 3:00 pm at the historic St. James Meeting House, at Boardman Park, 375 Boardman, Poland Road. The Park Avenue Brass Quintet returns to fill the Meeting House with the joyful sounds of Yuletide favorites. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited, so arrive early.
