The Trumbull New Theater presents the show "Deer Camp" weekends from Friday, May 1 through Sunday, May 17 with Friday and Saturday shows at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees at 3:00pm. The theater is located at 5883 Youngstown Warren Rd in Niles. "Deer Camp" is a comedy follows four friends on their annual deer hunting trip, it takes a turn when their wives give them an ultimatum. "bag a deer, or give up deer camp for good". The catch is, that none of them know how to hunt. Tickets at Trumbullnewtheater.com

The Butler Institute of American Art presents "Family Days' every third Sunday through April at 1:30pm. Join the Butler's docents, artists, and art educators, as they lead you on a learning journey through the museum with tours, demonstrations, scavenger hunts, and art-making. Ursuline Sisters Mission, at 4280 Shields Road, begins its 16th year of free guided labyrinth walks on Sunday May 17 at 2pm. This year’s overarching theme honors the 350th Jubilee of the Sacred Heart. All are invited to participate. Walks are about a half hour, and are led by a different facilitator, either an Ursuline Sister or Associate, with the meditations centering on a related theme.

The Butler Institute of American Art presents their Film on Art series each Tuesday at noon through March in the Zona Auditorium located in the Butler’s Beecher Center. A schedule of films can be found at butlerart.com

Lit Youngstown presents a writing through grief workshop series with writer and teacher Sydney Stalnecker at the main library in Youngstown on Tuesday evenings at 6pm from April 28 through June 2. These sessions will include group poetry readings, peer-led discussion, thought-provoking prompts, and the opportunity for participants to share work. The workshop is free and open to the public. The Butler Institute of American Art presents Senior Art & Learn, the third Thursday of every month, through November. This free event is for adults 55+ who are interested in learning more about the art in our museum. Seniors will be led on a docent-guided tour of a featured exhibition that encourages “slow looking” and engagement. Seating available. More information at butlerart.com.

The gallery is open Thursday and Fridays from 12-4pm and Saturdays from 11am-3pm. "NO GUARANTEES," is an exhibition of 19 women artists working and living in the Mahoning Valley, and includes a wide range of media, including painting, photography, printmaking, drawing, mixed media, ceramics, fiber, and quiltmaking. This exhibition is free and open to the public.

There will be an opening reception, Saturday, April 18 from 6-8pm.
