The Youngstown Historical Center for Industry and Labor presents a photography exhibition by Richard Hahn titled Grit/Glow, opening Thursday, July 10, and on display through February. Grit/Glow juxtaposes the warmth of orange skies with the stark realities of industry, illustrating the paradox of beauty and hardship. The museum is open Wednesdays through Fridays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and on Saturdays from Noon to 4:00 pm.

The McDonough Museum of Art will open 2026 with three exhibitions. Misty Gamble's "Of Flesh and The Feminine", Hannah Parrett's "I Do Not Always Understand, But I Feel Desire" and "From WOMAN 19" curated by Mary Urbas, on display through Saturday, February 28. The museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11am-4pm. A closing reception for all the exhibitions will be held 2-4pm on February 28.

YSU's Judith Rae Solomon Gallery in Bliss Hall presents an exhibition by artist Davon Brantley throughout February titled "Wrinkles in the Smile of Divinity." Influenced by Dante's Divine Comedy, Brantley presents a trilogy of works that navigate the profound territories of Hell, Purgatory and Divinity as metaphors for the artist's personal journey. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.
Youngstown State University Theater presents "Episode 26" weekends from Friday, February 13 through Sunday 22 with Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30pm and Sunday matinees at 2:30pm at the Spotlight Theater in YSU's Bliss Hall. "Episode 26" is an affectionate and ingenious sci fi serial. Tickets available at ysu.tix.com
The YSU Ward Beecher Planetarium presents the program, "Passport to the Universe" Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm through Saturday, February 28th. Fly beneath the rings of Saturn, into the heart of the Orion Nebula, and out into the vastness of space to experience stunning cosmic destinations as never before possible. All planetarium shows are free with seating being first come, first served.
